We would like to inform you about the Cost Action 3DForEcoTech. Within this Cost Action and specifically within WG3, a database that comprises, describes, and analyses algorithms for detailed point cloud processing in forest environments will be generated.
We are aiming at algorithms, implementations, tools, libraries, packages, or software:

- Publicly available, although not necessarily free nor open source
- Able to deal with close-range point clouds (UAV and/or ground-based photogrammetric and/or laser scanning point clouds)
- Focused on the automation or simplification of problems related to forest inventory and/or forest ecology at stand/plot level
